About Me

My name is Jill.  I am first of all a Christian.  Jesus Christ makes all the difference in my life.  His saving blood has cleansed me, and His grace is sufficient for every moment of my every day.

I have 4 wonderful girls to fill my days and hours - they bring such joy to my life!  Their ages range from 11 years to 2 years old.

I also homeschool my girls.  I've always really enjoyed teaching children, and I especially enjoy teaching my own. :)

"...that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:" Psalm 144:12

"Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward." Psalm 127:3

I'm a certified family herbalist.  I began my blog out of a desire to share herbs and home remedies with others.

I read and research to find effective ways to doctor my family at home.  If there is a sickness that gets serious enough for me to have to bring my girls to the doctor, I come home with the doctor's diagnosis and furiously research how I can treat it the next time at home if it ever arises again.  I'm very thankful for doctors when a serious situation is at hand, but what if a day comes when I can't make it to a doctor?

I'm also amazed at the effectiveness of home remedies without negative side effects, unlike conventional medicine.  I want to be equipped with knowledge and skill to the best of my ability to be prepared for the worst.

There is a list of home remedies in the sidebar to browse.  I'm glad you've stopped by, and look forward to getting to know you!
