You should change your toothbrush about every 3 months, but what about when you've been sick? Do you know that you re-infect yourself with the same germs and bacteria every time you brush your teeth after being sick? Whether it's a virus, cold or sinus infection, it's very important to kill the germs before you brush next. If you don't want to buy a new toothbrush every time you're sick, simply boil your toothbrush for 5 minutes and it'll be ready to use again.
Do you get the same sickness over and over close together? Poor diet and an unhealthy body obviously contributes to these things, but sanitizing your toothbrush could be just the thing you need to keep the sickness away! :)
