Homemade Pizza Bread

This is a very simple meal to put together!

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 T. yeast
1 tsp. salt
1 T. honey
1 cup warm water
Herbs such as:
Rosemary
Thyme
Basil
Oregano
Any other toppings such as cheese, vegetables, etc.
Directions:
Stir the water and yeast together until well mixed; add remaining ingredients and stir until soft ball is formed.
Drizzle about 4 T. olive oil over dough and knead for 5 min.  Roll the dough out into a rectangular shape until it's 1/4 inch thick.
Spread sauce and cheese

Sprinkle herbs and any other toppings

Fold dough over to make it half a rectangle

Pinch seams together and brush top with melted butter

Bake 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes, or until browned.
Slice and serve with extra sauce.

This meal is easy for me to put together when I need something quick, and it's very good. Making things from scratch ensures that you won't be consuming harmful ingredients that are hidden in store-bought food.  Enjoy! :)
